How to Use the Player Match Centre

The Player Match Centre sits at the top of your personal link for a standalone tournament. On one phone-friendly card it shows the server-owned live schedule, whether you are playing, waiting, sitting out, on a bye or finished, who and where you play, the score action you can take, and the next step the tournament currently knows.
Use the Player Match Centre during a standalone personal tournament. It is designed for a quick check from your phone between games. Team tournament, ladder-league, team-league and public results pages have their own layouts, so do not expect this same card on every shared link.

Follow your tournament from your phone
- Open your personal link. Use the player-specific link your organiser sent for this standalone tournament. The Player Match Centre is the first card on the page. Planned and live events open on My matches; completed events open on My results.
- Read your current status. Playing now means the authoritative schedule has called your current match. Waiting for your court means your opponents are known but the fixed court is not ready yet. Waiting for your opponents means the draw still needs an earlier result. Sitting out this game and You have a bye this round are explicit rest states, not missing matches. Between matches means your next match is known but not current. A finished message means you have no more matches to play.
- Find your court and players. For the prioritised match, check the authoritative court first, then With for your doubles partner and Against for your opponent or opposing pair. If an opponent is unresolved, the card says To be confirmed and explains why below. Do not use a future card's court as the current instruction.
- Enter or confirm the score. When scoring is enabled, tap Enter score when finished, check both sides and save. If confirmation is required, Send score sends a proposal. When the other side proposes a score, confirm it if correct or tap Enter a different score to send back your result. If there is no score action, follow the message or tell the organiser the result.
- See what happens next. Once the server accepts a save or confirmation, or the organiser changes a court assignment, the page refreshes to the latest schedule revision. The top card changes to the next known match, a waiting, sitting-out or bye explanation, Score sent while the other side checks it, or a finished state. If your link can score all matches, other permitted ready matches are under the collapsed Score another match section.
- Review the whole event. Choose Full draw for every generated round, court, matchup, bye and result. Your matches are highlighted, but the rest of the competition stays visible too. Choose Standings for live rankings or final placings, and My results for your own record, partners and opponents. The selected tab stays selected when the link refreshes. Your organiser can share the draw directly with ?tab=draw; it has the same private-link access and scoring rules as the usual link.
- Wait for an unknown opponent. Opponent not yet known means an earlier result must resolve your draw. The card may name the semi-final and court whose winner or loser you will face, or say that pool play must finish first. Wait for that result and check the refreshed personal link rather than guessing from TBD or from another device's old court.
- Know when you are finished. Your tournament is finished means you have no more scheduled matches even though other players are still competing, so you can follow the bracket below. Tournament complete means the whole event is complete and you can view the final results.
- Return to your private recap. After the event, the same personal link keeps your scores, partners, opponents, points and standings available without an account. A legitimate organiser correction updates that same URL. The link does not expire automatically, so send it only to the named player. The organiser can revoke it at any time. Claiming is optional and only connects eligible results to Player Centre.
- Claim only when you want Player Centre. Choose Sign in and claim or Create my profile from the private recap. Email code, passwordless and enabled social methods return you to the same link. The auth page keeps a short-lived return path in that browser tab and offers Back to my private recap if you cancel or a provider fails. Request a new code when one expires or has already been used, and wait when the secure form shows a resend or retry limit. You can still view the recap and score authorised matches without an account, and authentication does not opt you into product messages.
Permissions and play order still apply: The organiser chooses whether player scoring is off, limited to your own matches, or open to all matches, then opens the scoring window when play is ready. The private link says whether scoring has not opened, is paused, is finalised, or is blocked by an earlier game, unresolved opponent, permission or completed event. The server's scoring-window, sequencing and permission rules always make the final decision.

Frequently asked questions
Why can I not enter a score?
The organiser may not have opened player scoring yet, may have paused or finalised it, may have limited what link-holders can score, or may have kept play-order protection on. An unresolved playoff opponent or completed event can also keep that match unavailable. Follow the exact status on the card, wait for the named dependency, or give the result to the organiser.
Why is my next opponent not shown?
An earlier match or the remaining pool matches still have to decide the opponent. The Player Match Centre explains the dependency when it can, then updates from the server-owned schedule after that result is recorded. A future court is not the current instruction.
Does every player link have the Player Match Centre?
No. It is the focused top card on personal links for standalone tournaments. Team tournament, ladder-league, team-league and public results pages use different experiences.
Where are other matches I am allowed to score?
If the organiser allows your link to score all matches, other permitted and ready matches appear in the collapsed Score another match section beneath the current-match card.
